Hello,

I cannot authenticate with my IMAP/POP3 mail server. When I look into
the mail.info log, it says all the following:

May  9 22:02:17 neumond pop3d: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:
chdir(/var/mail/virtual/mydomain/technik) failed!!
May 9 22:02:17 neumond pop3d: error: Permission denied
May 9 22:02:17 neumond pop3d: LOGIN FAILED, [EMAIL PROTECTED],
ip=[::ffff:127.0.0.1]
May 9 22:02:17 neumond pop3d: authentication error: Permission denied

But all maildirs are created correctly and are owned by mail:mail, which
the Courier auth daemon is by configure line supposed to run as. I
cannot see any reason why Courier-IMAP/POP3 shouldn't be able to chdir
to that directoy, there is no obvious problem. Any ideas?

Using a MySQL database for authentication, and that part seems to work.
Otherwise using Courier-IMAP 4.1.0 on Debian 3.1, compiled from source.
