I'm rebuilding my mail server due to a HD failure. It is qmail + vpopmail + courier-imap.
I have qmail and vpopmail installed and working (seemingly) fine. Mail is coming in with no errors in the logs. Now it is time to get the "client" side of access set up.
I build and install courier-authlib first and it while it will run, it is non-functional. I want authlib to only use the vchkpw module. When the authdaemon starts it complains that it cannot find the file. Here is what is in my log file:
> Jul 30 12:30:12 disillusion authdaemond: modules="authvchkpw", daemons=5
> Jul 30 12:30:12 disillusion authdaemond: Installing libauthvchkpw
> Jul 30 12:30:12 disillusion authdaemond: File not found
For some reason libauthvchkpw is not being built as a .so. I don't understand why. Any help is greatly appreciated. If you need more info, just let me know.
I would have attached my config.log but it is way too big.
