Hello,
I recently installed courier-imap and would like it to work with my
qmail-ldap setup. I have configured authdaemon to point to authldap and
I can see the authentication requests being processed. If I manually
telnet, and issue:
a login gary incorrect_password
I get a "a NO Login failed." response - as I would expect. However,
when I issue:
a login gary correct_password
my telnet session immediately closes with a "Connection to host lost."
I have the following in my log file:

Also, if I try "authtest gary", I get back the following:

I see that the Maildir value is empty, and I was thinking that this
could potentially be the reason for the immediately closed connection?
If it is, I need help in figuring out how to set it, as nothing that
I've tried seems to work. If this isn't the reason for the closed
connection, perhaps someone can point me in the right direction.
