isn't that just the case for filesystem-permission based shared folders?
 anyway, there's no shared folder to be seen, neither under 'shared' nor
anywhere else.

I did find a workaround: placing a shared-maildirs file in the Maildir
of any user who needs access to the shared folder. because I use
vpopmail and thus any user has the same system user/group id, this works
w/o any further modifications.

however, it still would be nice to get the virtual shared folder
approach working, so that ACLs actually do have any effect.
