Hi,
I'm pretty new to courier-imap.
I have installed it yesterday for my home network on an Ubuntu Edgy
platform, thanks to several tutorials on the web (version 4.1.1-3ubuntu)...
Went fine...
I struggled a little bit before I understood that, by default, I could not
have my IMAP clients to create folders out of the "Inbox" folder, but that's
OK...
My problem: I'm trying to move full local hierarchies I have on my PCs
(running Outlook) from local hard drives to the IMAP central repository. When I
transfer a single folder, it works fine and quickly. When I transfer a
directory of folders sometime it works, sometime is does not: transfer is
frozen (never ends) and I have to "kill -HUP" my imapd process on the server to
get out of this frozen state on my client... Moreover, in that case, the
transfer is incomplete and the folder state is not very clean...
I noticed this seems to happens when the directory contains "big" folders
(several Mb).
I'm pretty sure this is not normal, and is very likely linked to some
misconfiguration on my side... But I could not find anything about this on the
web... :-(
Does anybody have an idea ?
Thanks in advance,
--
Thierry
