Yes, so you have two simple options:

(1) Make Exim perform the same database lookup as you've configured
courier-authlib to do;

or

(2) Make Exim send a query directly to courier-authlib's authdaemond to map
a username to a home directory.

and search down until you reach the "authdaemon_lookup" router.
