I agree with mouss, you can create a custom SQL query using the 
"MYSQL_SELECT_CLAUSE" in authmysqlrc.
At least this is the case with PGSQL_SELECT_CLAUSE as I do it myself.

Courier Authlib will use the exact query you provide, so if you don't 
want double quotes, don't put them in the query!
