hello community,
i've a question about the performance of
courier-imap.
i've 2 frontends with the courier-pop3 and
courier-imap.
The messagestore is on a nfs-server as maildir.
The information about the accounts are in a mysql-db.
there
are round about 20000 users with pop3.
yesterday i testet imap and in
my mailbox there were nearly 2500 emails.
the imap clients like
squirrelmail, outlook got a timeout error message.
there was not very
much load on the systems. it seems that the courier took too long to get
the headers.
is there anybody who can tell me something about
the performance limits of courier ?
Or could give me some tuning tips
?
