ii courier-maildrop 0.53.3-5 Courier Mail Server - Mail delivery
agent

Maildrop is invoked from postfix as:

maildrop  unix  -       n       n       -       -       pipe
  flags=DRhu user=vmail:vmail argv=/usr/bin/maildrop -d ${recipient}

Maildrop logs this:

####
home: /var/kunden/mail/
default: ./Maildir
Maildir:
####
Date: Fri Mar  7 14:33:46 2008
From: Ralf Hildebrandt <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Subj: d
File: ./Maildir (2242)

authdaemond CORRECTLY returned:
homedir=/var/kunden/mail/, maildir=frey/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/,
So WHY is maildrop not seeing this maildir value returned by the
authdaemond??

Because the version of maildrop that you have installed only works with the Courier mail server, and not with Postfix, or any other server.

You need to install the standalone version of maildrop, in order for this to work.
