I have had an authentication error from Courier-IMAP;
I am running CentOS 5.2 with the qmailrocks.org RHEL installation with the
exception I upgraded vpopmail to the current version (5.4.25) and recompiled
courier-authlib. The system ran fine for about a week then it started the same
errors again. This time I enabled debugging and recieved these errors:
Aug 2 12:59:50 mail authdaemond: received auth request, service=imap,
authtype=login
Aug 2 12:59:50 mail authdaemond: authvchkpw: trying this module
Aug 2 12:59:50 mail authdaemond: vchkpw: user does not exist
Aug 2 12:59:50 mail authdaemond: authvchkpw: REJECT - try next module
Aug 2 12:59:50 mail authdaemond: FAIL, all modules rejected
I made sure that authdaemond, imap, imaps and mysql were running.
Can you help?
