Hello,I use MTA postfix and MDA maildrop. How can I create IMAP folders server side and move mail in it? A folder test1 created by my MUA kmail2 was created as .test1 in my maildir. Thus I create .test2 using shell and mv'ed some mail in it. It shows up in theMUA but contains no mail.
Exactly what did you create. A maildir contains new, cur, and tmp subdirectories. It should not merely be a .testwhatever subdirectory. That subdirectory itself needs to have new, cur, and tmp subdirectories.
What is the way to go to do server-side filtering incl. creating of IMAP folders?
The maildrop package should include the maildirmake command. Use the -f option to create folders. See its man page.
