hi, I'm trying to monitor courier-imap using the svscan from qmail package. However, the problem is that the couriertcpd service puts itself in the background and therefore causing "supervise" process to think that the service is down. Hence "supervise" is always trying to restart the courier imap service. I have tried using "fghack" but it still does not work. The following is what i have in the run file for courier-imap:
exec /usr/lib/courier-imap/libexec/couriertcpd -address=0 -stderrlogger=/usr/lib/courier- imap/libexec/logger -stderrloggername=imapd -maxprocs=50 -maxperip=50 -pid=/var/run/imapd.pid -nodnslookup -noi dentlookup 143 /usr/lib/courier-imap/sbin/imaplogin /usr/lib/courier-imap/libexec/authlib/auth_imap /usr/lib/co urier-imap/bin/imapd Maildir What's the solutions?
