It is worth noting that some mail clients allow you to use non us-ascii
characters in messages without going to the trouble of properly encoding
them, and without adding suitable headers to the message. Courier will
complain about these messages that do not comply with the appropriate RFCs
(internet standard documents). You need to make sure that your client is
well-behaved.
