I have solaris8 sparc packages for openldap 2.0.8 available at
http://www.ypass.net/solaris8/openldap/gettingsoftware.html

This package includes shared libraries for openldap (libldap.so and
liblber.so). This is what courier is looking for. The package also
includes the ldap server, which you may or may not want. Either way, if
you're planning on using LDAP with Solaris8, I recommened reading that
entire section of the website. You will also need OpenSSL libraries which
are also available at that site.
