I have a problem in that when I run an SMTP connection to a Courier MTA system:

EHLO localhost

MAIL FROM:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

432 Service temporarily unavailable.

502 ESMTP command error

The 502 error comes about 30 seconds after the 432 error, with no text in between.  It doesn’t every get to the point of accepting a recipient, and the same happens whether the host is on a network permitting relay, or one that doesn’t.  POP3 and IMAP authentication (authldap) is working flawlessly.  AUTH_REQUIRED is set to 0.  This is on an UltraSPARC system running Solaris 8, and Courier was built with GCC 2.95.3.

I can’t think what could be wrong, except maybe for the TLS stuff, but I have ESMTPD_TLS_REQUIRED=0 set.
