I only have one Outlook client accessing a handful of mailboxes. At first Outlook was having a lot of connection problems. I bumped up the MAXPERIP to 40 and 99% of the problems disappeared but I still get this occasional error message:
"Could not fetch headers in the inbox for <IP>. An unknown error has occurred. Please save any existing work and restart the program" I ran across a related Outlook message where Sam says, "Change both MAXPERC and MAXPERIP in /usr/lib/courier-imap/etc/imapd". By default there is no MAXPERC entry in imapd. If I add a MAXPERC entry will it help and if so what would a good value be?
