Greetings,
I've had Courier-IMAP (w/ SSL) working for a couple of months now, with users using Pine (4.40) and Netscape (4.79). Just today, I tried it again (after having some trouble with Horde/IMP), and Pine complains: > There was an SSL/TLS failure for the server > > tenaya.physics.lsa.umich.edu > > The reason for the failure was > > SSL negotiation failed > >This is just an informational message. With the current setup, SSL/TLS will not >work. If this error re-occurs every time you run Pine, your current setup is not >compatible with the configuration of your mail server. You may want to add the >option > > /notls > >to the name of the mail server you are attempting to access. Adding the suggested "/notls" doesn't do anything. The log files indicate an imapd-ssl error: imapd-ssl: starttls: accept: error:00000000:lib(0):func(0):reason(0) However, the Netscape connections still work the way they used to. I am reasonably certain that nothing has changed as far as the mail software goes. The server machine is RH7.1 with kernel 2.4.13-pre1: the most recent change was the updates to glibc. I'll be grateful for any hints as to what to look for. Cheers, --Dave Chin [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ courier-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/courier-users
