Hi there,

I hope that some people can take some time and try to think with me on the following
question:

I have been running Qmail (Mailbox format) + Qpopper as pop server for the past 2 years
without problems on a Linux machine..
This Linux machine does email for multiple domains using the virtualdomain file from
qmail...

There is one particular domain for which it will be very useful if I could use IMAP
instead of POP to read the email..

I went looking and found that Courier IMAP goes very well with Qmail.... I read in the
docs that Courier only works (well)
with the Maildir format that Qmail can also store his mail to....

My question: Looking at various step-by-step installtion docs it looks that I should
first
change qmail so that mail is written to the Maildir format
before I go further.. Is there an possibility that I can do this only for 1 domain and
leave the other domains on Mailbox format which will prevent
me from changing the pop software and some other nasty upgrading of email client
software..?

I am looking for the shortest path to get IMAP access for only a few (maybe one)
user(s)..
The other users will still use POP to download there email..
If some people can give me some suggestions this would be very useful for me..

With kind regards,
David Bouw
