Check with 'authtest' from the sources, try sending mail to 'couriertest@hostname1', use an fqdn like 'mydomain.com' instead of 'hostname1', make shure 'mydomain.com' does not appear in hosteddomains or aliases, put 'mydomain.com' into locals or change 'couriertest' to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in mysql, check the mysql-query-log to see which username authdaemon tries to select.
