Make sure that /home/virtual/domain.com/joesmith is owned by the uid specified
in the userdb line for joesmith.  If that doesn't work, try making
/home/virtual/domain.com owned by the same uid.  (All my virtual users for a
given domain have the same uid, and my /home/virtual/domain.com and all its
subdirectories (maildirs) are owned by that uid.
