We also found, other than stripping of message colors/fonts, some attachments do not get decoded, thus havening to be decoded manually with a decode utility buy the final recipient

RE: [courier-users] FW: Re: 8-bit content, no mime revisited Thank you for the advice on the fix. It is interesting though that in the clients own words "I had her send me a message that bounced yesterday and I received it. The only difference is that the signature did not come through in color. I assume that the "fix" strips away whatever code it is having problems with (font, color, etc.) or will it strip away things by default whether there is a problem or not? I guess my question would be should we expect to see different colors and fonts in our letters from the outside... or inside for that fact... or is that feature gone???" any ideas? -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Walter Taucher Sent: Tuesday, February 05, 2002 11:22 AM To: 'William Hue' Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: solution. Courier 0.37.2 doesn't, by default, reject those e-mails anymore. Rather, it rewraps them and delivers them. Someone also told me that you can make 0.37.2 ignore the RFC violations by doing: > FWIW 0.37.2++ has an official fix that only requires a > "opt BOFHBADMIME=accept" in /etc/courier/bofh config file. Hope this helps.
