Uhm? Dunno what you mean by 'folders are created as files'...
Folders are dirs created i.e. as /home/USERNAME/Maildir/.Test1 and
.Test2 :
drwx------ 5 monz monz 4096 Feb 7 17:16 /home/monz/Maildir/.Test1/
drwx------ 5 monz monz 4096 Feb 7 17:16 /home/monz/Maildir/.Test1.Test2/
The file 'couriersubscribed' then contains info about the structure:
INBOX.Test1
INBOX.Test1.Test2
