OK, I'm having trouble getting my head around this one for some reason. I have a Debian 2.2r4 system installed and have setup Exim to use Maildir format. Now I have installed the courier-imap package so that I can use it to access these folders using IMAP. I can't get my head around the damned configuration though :-( Initially I am using authpwd to get things going (will work towards either athldap or authmysql later) which I have set in the /etc/courier-imap.config file and I have also added a MAILDIR entry in the file too.
My main question at this point (apart from is there a good page for details on configuration!) is: do you have to set exim to drop mail into courier or does courier access the imap directories that exim drops the mail into? As an aside to this, from previous experience as a client user of exim I found that it insists on using hidden .files for it's folders. Is there a way of disabling this, as it causes me problems when I use Mutt to access the mail? -- --- Paul Tansom: - contact [EMAIL PROTECTED] for more information Internet and Intranet Solutions -- http://www.aptanet.com/ _______________________________________________ courier-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/courier-users
