I want to grab the contents of the maildirsize file (the first two
lines). Is there a way to do it with imap commands, or do I need
physical access to the filesystem? I've pored through all the imap
rfc's, but none of them seem to want to allow me to access an arbitrary
file. The file exists in the homedir, so it seems it should be
possible.
  OR
A method of getting the quota with an imap command. The version of
courier-imap that I have is 1.3.7. I'm in the process of testing 1.4.2
to see how difficult the transition will be. 1.3.7 doesn't implement
the imap quota extensions, I'm compiling 1.4.2 right now to check if it
lists it as a capability.

I'm trying to avoid having to access the file directly. Am I out of
luck?
