/var/maillog would be a good point: local always logs if and
what quota was set by the authmodule.
With authmysql you could then check the sql-query, and the
socket of authdaemon also returns the quota if defined.

What are all this entries for and what about those for
maildrop and maildrop-wrapper ?

courier comes in one single package, one cant add, update or
delete parts of it without starting again at ./configure.

Try once without rpm, this wont overwrite anything installed.
But dont add any of the sub-packages like sqwebmail, imapd
or maildrop to courier later. This would result in multiple
incarantions of authlib and messed up paths just like Raphael
seems to have.

I am pretty shure it works if you use --enable-maildirquota
with ./configure and be careful not to exec/read any old file
from another courier-installation on the disk.
