Hello, list! I am having a problem with the courier-mta package, It does not seem to actually place the mail into the maildirs, even though the logs say that the messages were recieved successfully. My goal with this package is to have a pure virtual mail server, using mysql as a backend. I have all of that working, with the notable exception of the mail delivery.
So, having said all that, my main question is this: How can I find out what happens between the /var/log/maillog file claiming that courierlocal has successfully delivered the message, and the mail not actually landing in the maildir? I will volunteer any pieces of any config files, but do not want to glut the list. Let me also say that I have waded through the last three months of list messages, tried many a config suggestion, all to no avail. So a secondary question is this: for a purely virtual, mysql-backended mail server, what is the proper config? Thanks, list. And sorry for the long post. Curtis V.
