Quite probably. However, when my mail server was using UW-IMAP I didn't have this problem, now without Courier IMAP I do. Of course, the less said about UW-IMAP the better, which is why we do not use it. Even with the interoperability problems with Outlook, Courier is by far the better product. However, as much as you may not like Microsoft clients, there are a lot of them about and us server admins still have to support them.
