Anyways you need to look at the userdb documentation at the homepage. This is described in the area about large virtual email farms. Where there is some challenge is when you are using a different MTA than Courier as follows in a large virtual email arrangement. Eg: Postfix->Maildrop->Courier-Imap Whereas Postfix->Virtual->Courier-Imap works fine. This is currently a WIP.
