I'd recommend taking a look at http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/HOWTO-INDEX/copyright.html which uses the gnu free documentation license. Its probably along the lines of what you want, though other language may be available. Check out the documentation at the *bsd sites - they may have different licenses, but I suspect that the documentation is under a slightly more strict copyright then the software.
