Hello list, I'm having trouble with my Axis StorPoint CD (spcd), which sends it's mails without an rfc-conform return-address: Mar 4 08:02:16 charon courieresmtpd: error,relay=::ffff:172.16.1.3,from=<spcd>: 517 Syntax error.
Something similar is happening with HP WebJetAdmin, which is unable to send log reports: Mar 4 11:31:10 charon courieresmtpd: started,ip=[::ffff:172.16.1.5] Mar 4 11:34:15 charon courieresmtpd: started,ip=[::ffff:172.16.1.5] Mar 4 11:37:03 charon courieresmtpd: started,ip=[::ffff:172.16.1.5] Mar 4 11:38:48 charon courieresmtpd: started,ip=[::ffff:172.16.1.5] Mar 4 11:41:10 charon courieresmtpd: [::ffff:172.16.1.5]: Connection timed out Mar 4 11:44:15 charon courieresmtpd: [::ffff:172.16.1.5]: Connection timed out Mar 4 11:47:03 charon courieresmtpd: [::ffff:172.16.1.5]: Connection timed out Mar 4 11:48:48 charon courieresmtpd: [::ffff:172.16.1.5]: Connection timed out (And yes, that was me testing 4 times) I know they don't behave as expected by rfc 821, but I need to get courier to accept these mails.. (boss waiting..) How do I do that ?
