This might be a no brainer, but I've tweaked my /usr/lib/courier-imap/etc/impad conf file in every possible way imaginable. I've upped the nubmer of authdaemons and the nubmer of imap daemons, and I'm still getting connection time outs.
For a user-base of around a thousand people, I though that upping the MAXDAEMONS to 75 would buy me some room. I restarted the server by issuing the command: "/usr/lib/courier-imap/libexec/imapd.rc restart" and I'm still getting time outs. I upped the number of connections to accept from the same ip addr - MAXPERIP=75, and that didn't work. I even played with the IMAP_USELOCkS and set that flag to 1. That didn't work. What am I missing?
