I am having problems w/Courier smtp and I can't determin if it is a DNS
problem or posibly a courier problem....the problem is that smpt does not
accept connections and if you do a nslookup while this problem is happening
it comes back with an error about the DNS server not responding...how ever
every thing else on that same network gets a response from the same DNS
server.

I have also seen this in my process table which 'may'?!? or may not have
anything to do with the problem.

courier   1673  0.0  0.1  2804 1728 ?        S    14:27   0:00 submit esmtp
dns; zoram.tonservices.com (softdnserr [::ffff:204.110.224.254])

Also, another problem that I have tied to the DNS is that if you are coming
from an IP address that doesn't have a reverse DNS entry then there is a
delay of around 10 secs. But, if you come from an address that will resolve
from an IP address to an host name there is no delay.

So if somebody has an idea please let me know and hopefully I have explain
the problem so that you understand.
