All,
I have compiled Courier for Solaris 2.8, without OpenSSL, but with
Berkeley DB and OpenLDAP. I have the system set up with maildirs and
everything, but when attempting authentication, the imapd doesn't even
try to contact the LDAP server. authldaprc is filled out properly (near
as I can tell).
To be absolutely sure about what was going on, I used Solaris snoop
to check and see what was going on. The imapd woke up and responded
cheerfully, but when supplied with a username and a password, it did
nothing but wait a moment or two and then deny access.
I have attached both the authldaprc, authdaemondrc, and what I found
whilst snooping on the chance it might be useful. Can anyone tell me
what I've done wrong?
