I would like to get a feel for what type of hardware/configuration is being used for 5000+ user installations of Courier. I'm looking to get a rough idea on what is out there and do not need exact information. In fact, "Don't know/Skip/Prefer not to say" would be acceptable answers to any of requested information. So.... the type of information I am looking for is: Name of organization (Foobar Inc., Elite University, etc) ? Email address of administrator or survey responder ? CPU type (Intel P-II, Intel P-III, Intel P4, UltraSparc, G4, etc) ? CPU speed (500 Mhz, 1.13 Ghz, etc) ? Memory (512 Megs 100Mhz SDRAM, 2 Gigs 133Mhz, etc) ? Disk (Six 18Gig 10k RPM RAID5 SCSI, 2x60 Gig RAID1 IDE, etc) ? Operating System (GNU/Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris, AIX, HP-UX, Tru64, etc) ? Courier services provided (SMTP, HTTP, HTTPS, POP, POP/SSL, IMAP, IMAP/SSL) ? Non-courier services provided by same machine (Telnet, FTP, SSH, NNTP, etc) ? Number of Courier accounts defined (1000, 1500, 2000, 2500, etc) ? Average number of concurrent sessions (18, 5 IMAP & 12 HTTP, etc) ? User Quota size (2 Megs, 5 Megs, 10 Megs, etc) ? Mail stored in Maildir format (Yes, No) ? Amount of mail stored on server (1 Gig, 1.5 Gigs, 2 Gigs, etc) ? Responsiveness of server (very good, sluggish from 2pm-4pm, etc) ? Thanks! _______________________________________________ courier-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/courier-users
