Hi, A couple of weeks ago I posted a query regarding a hosted domain not resolving to a default alias in /usr/lib/courier/etc/aliasdir.
I have since discovered the problem (good old strace to the rescue!) To alias [EMAIL PROTECTED], the alias file must be /usr/lib/courier/etc/aliasdir/.courier-user@hosteddomain:com (the subtle use of ':'). The documentation is not at all specific upon dot-courier and hosteddomains - whether this behaviour is possible even. In fact, the word 'local' is overloaded quite confusingly altogether. That is, does it mean "a locally hosted domain", or does it mean "will be handled by the 'courier.local' module" (or indeed, is this the same thing???). The code (ie courier/modules.local/local.c - is the right place to look???) even suggests it ignores everything after '@' unless it is a local domain. Anyway, I'm just glad that the system accomodates the functionality I require!!! Cheers, Alan _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com _______________________________________________ courier-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/courier-users
