I use LDAP_AUTHBIND=1 and it is working for me.
Find the "#define DEBUG_LDAP 0" line in authldaplib.c and set it to 1. You
will get the authldap logs.

I'm having the same problems others reported when authenticating via ldap..
I've tried rebinding and not-neither work. I see the same ldap logs others
do, they show every working fine?. I think what would really be great is if
anyone knows how to make authdaemond.ldap log debuging info. Or maybe it
does, does anyone know where I can find it.
All I get now in the mail log is a failed auth notification.
