[courier-users] newbie - courier-imap configuration

Hi,   I just compiled and installed Courier-Imap 1.3.9. The process ran correctly on my server. I also have Qmail 1.03 running on this machine. Now, I just read the documentation and I saw there are a lot of authentication methods we can configure. My configuration is the following :   - server     courier-imap 1.3.9     slackware linux 8     user : vincent     Maildir structure directory ( ~vincent/Maildir )   - client     Outlook Express 6.0     Settings for my Account            Root folder path                                : ~vincent/Maildir         check for new messages in all folders : yes         Store special folders on IMAP server   : yes         Sent Items path                                 : Sent Items         Drafts path                                        : Drafts   The methods my installation added in "/usr/lib/courier-imap/etc/imapd" are the following : AUTHMODULES_ORIG="authcustom authcram authuserdb authmysql authshadow authpwd". I tried it with my Oulook Client. I launched the synchronization of folders and and I got the following error message "The server has rejected your login. Please verify that your user name and password are correct".   So :   - Is that possible to know which authentication method Outlook Express uses ??? - Is my user declared on my linux server sufficient ( or do I have to specifically declare it for courier-Imap and how ??? ) - Do I have to set something special in the configuration of my client ( see above ).   Thanks for your help.
