I am just in the process of setting up my mail server with qmail 1.03 and courier-imap 1.4.3.
In setting up qmail, I tested from a client machine and was able to access mail via pop, though it takes a while to check. When I installed courier, no errors (compiled without authdaemon, without authldap), from the client machine I get unable to connect, connection refused error. The real confusion to me is that I am able to get access via pop3 and I am able to send, so the only problem seems to come from imap. Can anyone suggest what to look for to fix this?
