That is the same problems I am having, except if I login and logout, I can log back in as the same user usually without problems. I found that if you logout close the browser window to totally kill the session and open a new browser window and log back in whether it be as the same user or a different username. Should work without a hitch. Would be nice to get it fixed but I guess it works fine for now.
