Hey, I have been having a problem since I installed courier-imap. It is that whenever I try and connect to the server remotely it gives me this error "Unable to connect to remote host: Connection refused"
The port that I have it set up to connect to is 145. And it will connect fine to this port if you connect via localhost, so the webmail server works fine, but I can't access the server from an actual application, unless I use SSL. Which is the other odd thing, the SSL IMAP works fine and allows remote connections, but unencrypted IMAP doesn't. So does anybody have any recommendations on what misconfiguration would cause this error. Also please e-mail me directly rather than sending something to the list as I'm not subscribed.
