I have been using courier for a while as a internal mail server (the outside world sees sendmail but all mail is routed to a courier box for imap service).
Sunday I added the courier as a MX server for our domain (mdtsoft.com) and when people not on the internal systems (allows to relay) sent mail they got <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: 209.101.192.8 does not like recipient. Remote host said: 513 Relaying denied. now [EMAIL PROTECTED] is a local account (and works as such) without problems why does courier think that this is a relay (local delevery and local send are not relay under normal conditions) I have mdtsoft.com in my local file and to fix this made a "me" file (in my courier configuration directory) with the same data as the local file to see if that would work (it did not) it is interesting that a messge to [EMAIL PROTECTED] WILL WORK (the server is at 209.101.192.8 and is called iweb.mdtsoft.com). -- It is MDT, Inc's policy to delete mail containing unsolicited file attachments.
