hi. i am using courier-imap in connection with vpopmail and 2 virtual users (postmaster and a test user with 1 alias). vpopmail is using the mysql database to store the user information and i use imapd to login authdaemon is running and when i enter authvckpw as the only authentification module, i all the time receive that the password of the test user is not correct and the login failed. postmaster never shows any problems i tried some tricks (like vconvert -m -c and converting this to the userdb format and changing the authmodules to authvchkwp authuserdb authpam) and then it works better. (like 1 failure for the testuser in 10 times and i can simply enter the same password if the email client asks and it will work).
i don't know what causes this problem (maybe the aliasing?!, i did not add --enable-valias=y to the configure line) after rebuilding courier-imap 10 times and trying various things i allmost want to quit using it and go back to wu/qpop/... any help for me?
