Hi,

The packages were not installed, I installed them now. But same error in
/bdobj/config.log:

Configure says:

....
checking whether the C++ compiler (c++ ) works... no
configure: error: installation or configuration problem: C++ compiler
cannot create executables.
configure: error: ./configure failed for bdbobj
...

The file ./bdobj/config.log looks like:

....
configure:1078: checking for AIX
configure:1103: checking for minix/config.h
configure:1113: gcc -E  conftest.c >/dev/null 2>conftest.out
configure:1109: minix/config.h: No such file or directory
configure: failed program was:
#line 1108 "configure"
#include "confdefs.h"
#include <minix/config.h>
configure:1155: checking for gawk
configure:1189: checking for c++
configure:1221: checking whether the C++ compiler (c++  ) works
configure:1237: c++ -o conftest    conftest.C  1>&5
cpp: -lang-c++: linker input file unused since linking not done
ld: cannot find -lstdc++
configure: failed program was:

#line 1232 "configure"
#include "confdefs.h"

int main(){return(0);}
....

Anyone another idea?

Regards,

Felix-Gabriel
