Jun 3 16:43:03 hostname imapd-ssl: LOGIN FAILED, ip=[xx.xx.xx.xx] You can imagine how thrilling these error messages are on my courier-imap-1.4.6.20020529 server. 90% of the users in my office are having no troubles getting their mail, but it seems about once a day someone will not be able to retrieve their mail, and this is all the information that I am getting in the log file about it. I was also having this trouble with the 1.4.4 dist, but upgraded today in hope of it resolving the problem.
Perhaps someone can tell me howto turn on debugging information for the IMAPS server, or .. something ? The problem client is always Outlook, and it always stops happening (starts functioning again) within about 30 minutes. I can't think of any reasonable / rational explanation.. In case it helps im using: ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/courier --without-ipv6 --without-authpam --without-authuserdb --without-authvchkpw --without-authcram --without-authmysql --without-authpgsql --without-authldap --without-authcustom --with-authchangepwdir=/usr/local/courier/libexec/authlib --with-db=gdbm --with-userdb=/etc/userdb --with-makedatprog=/usr/local/courier/libexec/makedatprog --with-mailuser=root --without-socks --with-authchangepwdir=/var/tmp/dev/null --enable-workarounds-for-imap-client-bugs For compilation. Please let me know if there is any other relevant information to tracking this down.. -- alan evetts _______________________________________________________________ Don't miss the 2002 Sprint PCS Application Developer's Conference August 25-28 in Las Vegas -- http://devcon.sprintpcs.com/adp/index.cfm _______________________________________________ courier-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/courier-users
