Scenario: QMail-LDAP for SMTP, Courier-IMAP for IMAP/POP
Problem: QMail has in the latest version the option to enable mail relaying
only when the client has previously authenticated via POP or IMAP.
With Courier-IMAP doing the POP work, I'm looking for the point to plug in
script that adds the IP address to the list of authenticated clients AFTER
the client has successfully authenticated via POP (or IMAP) ("pbsadd").
If using qmail-POP I would modify the tcpserver or xinetd script that starts
the POP server as suggested in the qmail docs:
tcpserver 0 110 qmail-popup $HOST auth-pop pbsadd qmail-pop3d ./Maildir/
How could I do this for Courier-IMAP?
Thanks,
Thomas
