I read a post in the past that dealt with the same problem @ http://www.geocrawler.com/mail/msg.php3?msg_id=8822025&list=3723, and I am having the *exact* same problem.
I've checked and rechecked my configs and still have no luck. I get a /usr/lib/courier-imap/authlib/authdaemond.mysql, and I created a /etc/courier-imap/authmysqlrc. I ran a ./configure --blah --blah | grep mysql, and it outputed: checking for mysql_config... /usr/bin/mysql_config checking for mysql_connect... yes checking for mysql_connect... (cached) yes So, configure finds my MySQL libraries, and and installs the appropriate stuff. Running ldd shows that libmysqlcleint.so.10 is indeed linked: # ldd /usr/lib/courier-imap/authlib/authdaemond.mysql libdb-3.2.so => /usr/lib/libdb-3.2.so (0x40027000) libpam.so.0 => /lib/libpam.so.0 (0x4009b000) libdl.so.2 => /lib/libdl.so.2 (0x400a4000) libmysqlclient.so.10 => /usr/lib/libmysqlclient.so.10 (0x400a7000) libz.so.1 => /usr/lib/libz.so.1 (0x400dd000) libcrypt.so.1 => /lib/libcrypt.so.1 (0x400eb000) libnsl.so.1 => /lib/libnsl.so.1 (0x40118000) libm.so.6 => /lib/libm.so.6 (0x4012f000) libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0x40151000) libgcc_s.so.1 => /lib/libgcc_s.so.1 (0x40280000) /lib/ld-linux.so.2 => /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x40000000) MySQL is working fine, and postfix is delivering messages based on the data retrieved from MySQL. When I run a 'tail -f /var/log/mysql/mysql.log' or 'tcpdump port 3306' I don't see anything at all related to courier-imap. If anyone could shine some light on my problem, I'd greatly appreciate it. - Kyle _______________________________________________________________ Don't miss the 2002 Sprint PCS Application Developer's Conference August 25-28 in Las Vegas -- http://devcon.sprintpcs.com/adp/index.cfm _______________________________________________ courier-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/courier-users
