this all appeared in test-messages with 1 sender and 1 recipient.
in the log-file, i only see one line:

Jun 11 12:14:35 mail courieresmtpd: started,ip=[::ffff:209.69.178.212]

this is a blacklisted ip-address in ordb, which allows even simple relays.
but when i tcpdump the interface, i see a lot of smtp traffic.
