I've searched high and low for the answer to this, and what makes it
worse is I could swear I saw the option to do this somewhere before, but
no luck in finding it. My problem;

I'm running pop3d (Among other things) which came with Courier, and it
logs connections to my maillog. Now, it being rather verbose, I'm
looking to move it to a different log where it won't drown out other
entries (say, authlog).

How can I do this? Looking at the logger manpage, it seems I could use
the -p option, but logger is started by couriertcpd (AFAIK), which
doesn't seem to start properly when I stick a -p in the .rc file.

So, can anyone clue me in on where I can go to change logging from
mail.info to auth.info?

Thanks,
Chris
