Sir, I have reached to a dead end.I am using pop3d service with authldap backend(openldap 2.0) authentication module on solaris 8.0.
my ldap profile is as follows: dn: [EMAIL PROTECTED],ou=del1,o=vsnl.net.in objectClass: top objectClass: CourierMailAccount mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] uid: sanju homeDirectory: /user1/home/vmail uidNumber: 500 gidNumber: 500 mailbox: del1/sanju userPassword:: YnBzaW5naDEyMw== which is working for radius auth perfectly fine. authldaprc I have tried everything but of no help. when I am trying to test authentication by giving following command. 0.0.0.0... Connected to 0. Escape character is '^]'. +OK Hello there. user [EMAIL PROTECTED] +OK Password required. pass bpsingh123 -ERR Login failed.
