Hi,

I am using qmail 1.03 and Courier IMAP-Server 1.4.0
On my Linux system I had to move the Maildir from the user's home to another
partition (because of a separate disk quota for emails) and I created a
symlink from the user's homedir to new Maildir.

Everything works fine, but subscribe/unsubscribe to imap folders doesn't work
any more.

Example:
----------------- snipp -------------------------
a001 list inbox *
* LIST (\HasNoChildren) "." "INBOX.bla"
* LIST (\HasNoChildren) "." "INBOX.honk"
* LIST (\HasNoChildren) "." "INBOX.TestAblage"
* LIST (\HasNoChildren) "." "INBOX.Trash"
* LIST (\HasNoChildren) "." "INBOX.Sent"
* LIST (\HasNoChildren) "." "INBOX.Drafts"
* LIST (\HasNoChildren) "." "INBOX.Ablage.stuff"
* LIST (\HasChildren) "." "INBOX.Ablage"
a001 OK LIST completed
a002 lsub inbox *
* LSUB (\HasNoChildren) "." "INBOX.Ablage.stuff"
* LSUB (\HasChildren) "." "INBOX.Ablage"
* LSUB (\HasNoChildren) "." "INBOX.Drafts"
* LSUB (\HasNoChildren) "." "INBOX.Trash"
* LSUB (\HasNoChildren) "." "INBOX.Sent"
a002 OK LSUB completed
a003 subscribe inbox.honk
a003 OK Folder subscribed.
a004 lsub inbox *
* LSUB (\HasNoChildren) "." "INBOX.Ablage.stuff"
* LSUB (\HasChildren) "." "INBOX.Ablage"
* LSUB (\HasNoChildren) "." "INBOX.Drafts"
* LSUB (\HasNoChildren) "." "INBOX.Trash"
* LSUB (\HasNoChildren) "." "INBOX.Sent"
a004 OK LSUB completed
----------------- snapp -------------------------

If I add "INBOX.honk" manually to the file courierimapsubscribed, then the
folder appears on the list.

The file courierimapsubscribed has write permissions for all.

Any ideas what is going wrong?

Thank you for help!

Peter
